Project description:
58 MW co-generation plant including:
- 2 Nuovo Pignone PGT10 gas turbines 10 MWe/each
- 2 Macchi heat recovery steam generators (70 t/hr at 110 bar) with postfiring and fresh air
- 1 40 MWe Nuovo Pignone steam turbine
- 2 km of LDG/BFG pipeline
- 4 km of NG pipeline at 72,8 bar (max)
- 4 km of 132 KV electrical line
Fuel:
- LD converter (LDG) gas from steel plant
- Blast furnace gas (BFG) from steel plant
- Natural gas from public network
Project peculiarity:
The plant is designed for the following operating modes (contract with National Grid Administrator):
- combined cycle during day time in working days
- fresh air or combined cycle at reduced load during night time in working days, holidays and summer months (July and August).
